The Goddard School located at 190 N. Forest Hill-Irene Rd, Cordova, TN is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher for our 1 year old classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and/or CDA preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare/preschool.
• State-required pre-service training completed.
• Ability to build relationships with children, families and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in activities with children.

Responsabilités

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open, positive communication with families about child progress.
• Supervise activities to uphold health and safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Support Assistants and Resource Teachers to foster teamwork.
• Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth.
