The Learning Experience #138 in Apex, NC, is hiring a full-time Toddler Teacher for children aged 1 to 2 years. The role runs from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and emphasizes nurturing care, creative activities, and clear parent communication.

The position requires prior child care experience, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills; a two-year degree or EDU 119 is preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Salary ranges from $13.50 to $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting.
• A great personality.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred Two-year degree (in a child related field) or higher (EDU 119).
• Preferred CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Qualifying Criminal Background Check Letter from North Carolina DCDEE.
• Preferred ITS/SIDS Training Certification.
• Able to interact with Students of all ages and development levels.

Responsibilities

• Working with children on art, sign language, helping them express themselves, leading story time, etc.
• Be positive, energetic, and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day.
• Providing feedback to the parents about their child's day.
• Being a creative teacher, who enjoys working with young children!
