The Malvern School is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Older Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Oaks. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with a $750 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or related fields and have experience with young children. The school emphasizes a high-quality curriculum, student-centered learning, and strong parent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience.
• Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field
