Job summary

The Malvern School in Glen Mills, PA seeks a Lead Teacher for the Older Toddler classroom. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday and offers a supportive, career‑oriented environment focused on early childhood education.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering a superior program in line with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom, and communicating regularly with parents using in-person interactions and digital updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in ECE or related human services field with required credits or experience.
• 30 credit hours in ECE-related fields plus 1 year experience (bachelor path) or 2–3 years experience (associate path).
• Commitment to The Malvern School philosophy and curriculum standards.
• Ability to design and implement a high-quality early childhood program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in line with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and via technology, meeting or exceeding expectations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services

Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services + 1 year experience

Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services + 3 years experience

Associate’s degree + 2 years experience
