Job summary

Little Newtons - Maple Grove is seeking a LEAD qualified Toddler teacher for a 9am–6pm schedule in a nurturing, creative environment focused on child development. You will plan engaging activities across art, music, literature, and science to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Responsibilities include supervising the classroom, communicating with families via the Kindertales app, mentoring assistants, ensuring safety, and maintaining logs in compliance with state licensing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or higher preferred.
• State requirements for lead or assistant teacher qualifications apply.

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning with hands-on activities across art, music, literature, science and more.
• Create a safe, organized classroom and enforce safety protocols.
• Connect with families using Kindertales; conduct parent conferences as needed.
• Observe and document each child’s development; tailor lessons to individual needs.
• Follow state licensing standards; complete daily logs and incident reports.
• Mentor classroom assistants and collaborate with leadership on improvements.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning community for children and families.
