Job summary

Little Newtons in Maple Grove is seeking passionate Teachers to inspire young learners and maintain classroom excellence. A LEAD qualified Toddler teacher is sought for hours 9am–6pm, with a focus on safety, documentation, and family partnerships.

Responsibilities include planning hands-on activities, supervising daily routines, and mentoring assistants to support a child-directed curriculum. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or higher preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
• Lead or assistant teacher qualifications per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities across art, music, literature, science and more.
• Create a safe, clean, and organized classroom; supervise all activities.
• Communicate with families through updates, observations, and conferences.
• Mentor classroom assistants and collaborate with leadership on improvements.
• Follow state licensing standards; conduct drills and complete daily logs.
• Foster a warm, inclusive learning environment for children.
