We are a registered childcare ministry of Pleasant View Bible Church that serves families with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We strive to intertwine God's word in with a quality curriculum to meet developmental and academic milestones in a safe, warm, and caring environment.

**Curriculum Development and Implementation:**
You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans and age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. We employ The Early Learning Matters (ELM) Curriculum, which is a highly accessible and adaptable program designed to support optimal learning and development for children from birth to five years of age.
**Classroom Management and Environment:**
It is essential to maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment to facilitate effective learning and promote student engagement.
**Child Development:**
Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of the principles of child development, encompassing cognitive, social, and emotional dimensions.
**Observation and Assessment:**
You will consistently monitor and assess children’s progress and learning styles while providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.
**Communication and Collaboration:**
Effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other professionals is vital to support the learning and well-being of children.
**Parent-Teacher Communication:**
Establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with parents is critical to cultivating collaborative partnerships that support children's development.
**Individualized Learning Plans:**
You will develop and adapt individualized learning plans to effectively address the diverse needs of each child.
**Professional Development:**
Remaining informed of best practices in early childhood education through continuous professional development and training opportunities is expected.
**First Aid and Safety:**
Candidates must hold valid first aid and CPR certifications and possess a comprehensive understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Should you not currently possess these certifications, arrangements can be made to facilitate their acquisition.
**Additional Qualifications:**
- Serve as a Christian role model in demeanor, speech, and conduct towards others.
- Exhibit the physical capability to fulfill the necessary tasks associated with the care of young children.
- Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of Pleasant View Early Learning.
- Assist with diaper changing and help each child learn appropriate hygiene practices.
Course work in Early Childhood Education
Experience teaching, writing lesson plans and creating fun age-appropriate activities
Current CPR certification
Tuition reimbursement in Early Childhood Education, is provided.
