The Goddard School is seeking a motivated Toddler Assistant Teacher at our Saint Charles, IL location. You will support the Toddler Lead Teacher in delivering engaging lessons, supervising activities, and maintaining a safe, warm classroom environment that fosters exploration and growth.

We value energetic, nurturing individuals who can collaborate with a team and communicate with families about their child’s progress.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Toddler Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactions.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging.
• Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment.
• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
