- Minimum of CDA or working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Prior experience in ECE required, along with CPR Certification.

Due to increasing demands in the community for early childhood education, we are opening a new Toddler classroom at our Lake Orion campus on June 2, 2025.This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to prepare the classroom for new students and help us establish a collaborative teaching environment with the staff.As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you have responsibility for the day-to-day activities along with support and collaboration from an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience utilizing the High Scope curriculum.Job Location: Lake Orion, MichiganStatus: Full-timeSchedule: Monday – Friday (7:30 am-4:30pm)Salary Range: Up to $19/hour to start (based on certification or degree and years of experience)Qualifications:- Minimum of CDA or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Bachelor's or associate’s degree in ECE “Early Childhood Education” or related field preferred
- Prior experience in ECE required
- CPR Certification
- Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
- Physically able to lift 15 pounds

- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
- Implement HighScope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
- Conduct Parent Teacher conferences
- Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
- Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
- Partner with parents and assist students regarding “Toilet Learning” approaches
- Participate in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
- Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
