Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment designed for exploration and independence.

As a leader, you will observe and support each child’s development, provide practical life lessons, and build strong relationships with families. The role offers sponsored Montessori certification and opportunities for growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Experience with children ages 0–3 in group care or early learning.
• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification or hold a Montessori diploma.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child closely to understand and support development.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters independence.
• Support independence by encouraging toddlers to do it themselves.
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Communicate and collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth.
• Lead classroom routines and collaborate with team members to create a joyful community.
