Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a 2-3 toddler classroom in a Montessori environment designed for exploration and independence. You will provide individualized guidance and language development, helping children become confident and self-directed learners.

The role emphasizes careful observation, nurturing relationships with families, and collaboration with a team to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through Prepared Montessorian Institute or a previously earned Montessori diploma.
• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in group care or early learning settings.
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters focus and exploration.
• Lead classroom routines and collaborate with team to create a joyful community.
• Build warm relationships with children and families and communicate with parents.
