Guidepost Montessori is hiring a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment designed for exploration and independence. You will observe, plan, and provide language, practical life, and social development lessons while fostering language, coordination, self-regulation, and confidence.

Qualifications

• Interest in fully sponsored Montessori certification through Prepared Montessorian Institute.
• Experience with children ages 0–3 in group care or early learning settings.
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar).
• ECE or Child Development credits are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child closely to understand development.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters focus and exploration.
• Support independence by encouraging toddlers to do things themselves.
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Communicate with parents to support each child’s growth.
• Lead classroom routines and collaborate with team members to create a joyful community.
