Job summary

Bright Horizons at Purchase invites a Lead Educator to guide a Toddler classroom, with emphasis on developmentally appropriate curriculum and anti-bias education. You will mentor teachers, partner with families, and model effective teaching strategies in a supportive environment.

Qualified candidates have a CDA with a plan to complete an associate degree, and at least three years of relevant classroom experience; NAEYC experience is a plus and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• CDA with an educational plan to complete an associate degree is required
• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or related field is highly preferred
• At least three years of professional teaching experience in high-quality child care or preschool
• Experience in a NAEYC-accredited center is preferred

• Lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and improve programs
• Partner with families, mentor new teachers, and model teaching excellence
