Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking a Lead Service Technician to perform tire mounting, balancing, repairs, and maintenance with an emphasis on safety and customer service. The role includes advising customers on tire selection, inspecting vehicles, and coaching junior technicians to uphold our service standards.

The candidate should have a High School diploma, a valid license, and be capable of physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail for tire services and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting tires on vehicles.
• Balancing tires to ensure proper weight distribution.
• Identifying and repairing punctures or other tire damage.
• Patching or plugging tires as necessary.
• Inspecting vehicles for signs of wear and damage.
• Provide tire maintenance and recommendations to customers.
• Coach and mentor other technicians as lead.
