Job summary

Gills Point S Tire in Helena, MT is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire services, inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance. Training is provided to help you grow your automotive career while working in a team-focused, safety-conscious shop.

You’ll join a stable, full-time team with opportunities for advancement and benefits after introductory period. No prior experience required, but automotive know-how is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment.
