CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Detection and Response Security Engineer to oversee incident response efforts across the enterprise. You will drive security assessments, automate response workflows, and mentor teams while supporting a 24x7 on-call rotation from Arlington or Richmond, VA.

The role requires strong scripting skills, advanced security tooling experience, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable infrastructure. This is an in-office role with some flexibility.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited university.
• 8+ years in Information Technology with 5+ years in cyber security.
• Scripting/programming skills in Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.

Aufgaben

• Incident handling as the incident response coordinator across multiple business verticals.
• Develop and lead incident response functions and reports.
• Conduct technical security assessments and adjust configurations and architecture.
• Coordinate quarterly incident response tabletop exercises and plan updates.
• Define platform automations to improve response efficiency.
• Operate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
