CoStar Group is seeking an Associate Security Engineer in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on implementing cybersecurity controls across endpoints, cloud platforms, and business processes, with hands-on exposure to vulnerability management and security tooling integration.

The position supports learning in threat detection, response, software security and AI security concepts, with in-office Mon–Thu and optional work-from-home on Friday.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Dec 2026–Jun 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA with demonstrated cybersecurity interest.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred and scripting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across endpoints, identities and cloud platforms.
• Assist with vulnerability management, incident response and security tooling integration.
• Document findings, plan next steps, and communicate with technical teams.
