AES Corporation is seeking a Principal Engineer – Thermal Projects to lead engineering for thermal power generation projects. You will manage third‑party design teams, review contracts, develop procurement specs, and provide technical guidance across development, construction, and operations phases.

You will mentor engineers, drive innovation, and coordinate with internal stakeholders on design reviews, emissions, and reliability goals while supporting related energy technologies and grid

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) and related technical background.

Responsabilidades

• Support EPC engagement through contract exhibits and RFIs.
• Lead external/internal design reviews and coordinate with SMEs.
• Mentor engineers and support multiple projects across lifecycle stages.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and technical requirements.
• Coordinate fuel supply and interconnection considerations with stakeholders.
• Support startup, commissioning, and performance testing activities.
