Job summary

Calpine is seeking an experienced project/construction leader to oversee major retrofit and new Thermal Combined Cycle Power Generation projects. You will coordinate with development, engineering, legal, environmental, supply chain and operations teams to meet safety, budget and schedule goals, managing on-site execution through to project closeout.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in industrial construction, with at least 5 years as PM/CM on thermal generation projects using gas turbines,

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of industrial construction techniques.
• 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years as PM/CM on a thermal generation project.
• Experience with industrial gas turbines, HRSGs and steam turbines.

Responsibilities

• Relocate to project site from mobilization through to project completion and hand over to Operations.
• Manage major thermal projects with internal teams across development, engineering, legal, environmental, supply chain and operations.
• Oversee procurement of Owner furnished equipment and manage project scope, safety, cost and schedule.
