TensorWave is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, validation, and optimization of advanced thermal management systems for hyperscale data centers in Las Vegas. The role emphasizes liquid-first cooling topologies, CFD-driven optimization, and hands-on guidance through construction and commissioning.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in large-scale HVAC or critical cooling, plus water-side design expertise.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of experience with large-scale HVAC or critical cooling systems.
• Experience with water-side design, fluid dynamics, and pumping systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design review and validation of advanced thermal management systems for hyperscale data centers, focusing on liquid-first cooling topologies.
• Design and model cooling infrastructure including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping.
• Perform CFD modeling to optimize airflow and liquid flow and ensure thermal containment.
• Provide engineering guidance during construction and commissioning for optimal performance (PUE/WUE).
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE and local codes and sustainability standards.
