Job summary

Ascension Recovery Services seeks a Therapist to lead our facility's clinical functions in Morgantown, WV. You will oversee admissions, conduct assessments, and develop initial treatment plans while ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred and clinical licensure.
• Strong knowledge of SUD Certification in Addiction Counseling preferred.
• ADC/AADC certification strongly preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification current or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Admission and Planning: Oversee clinical admissions, including assessments and preliminary treatment planning for new clients.
• Crisis Intervention: Intervene clinically in crisis situations and address special client needs as they arise.
• Documentation: Ensure timely completion of psychosocial assessments, clinical notes, and master treatment plans.
• Therapy Services: Provide group therapy and counseling, and coordinate family therapy programs.
• Billing and Reimbursement: Facilitate third-party reimbursement and manage billing operations.
• Quality and Compliance: Review client records for quality, ensure compliance with state regulations, and participate in quality assurance and utilization reviews.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the facility's operations and goals.
