Job summary

Recovery Point Inc. in Huntington, WV, and surrounding areas is seeking a licensed Clinician to join the interdisciplinary behavioral health team. The role includes clinical oversight, documentation review, treatment planning, and supervision of unlicensed counselors.

You will coordinate care across outpatient and residential settings, ensure regulatory compliance, complete SUD waiver paperwork, and support discharge planning within a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.).
• Current, valid WV license as LICSW/LPC or Licensed Psychologist.
• Experience providing clinical services to individuals with SUD and/or co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Knowledge of clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documentation standards.
• Ability to supervise unlicensed counselors and ensure ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Review counseling and progress notes for clinical appropriateness and medical necessity.
• Develop and review individualized treatment plans based on assessments and goals.
• Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed counselors per WV laws.
• Complete SUD waiver documentation and ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and coordinate services across outpatient and residential programs.
• Maintain client confidentiality and accurate clinical records.
• Participate in audits, training, and quality improvement activities.
