Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services LLC is seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist for full-time work in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role requires an OT license and NBCOT-OTR as applicable by state, with opportunities to mentor staff and lead clinical programs.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clinical teams, patient-centered care plans, and regulatory-compliant documentation to ensure high-quality outcomes and ongoing professional development within Enhance Therapies’ family."

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in state of practice.
• NBCOT certification as an OTR is required by state where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with functional, cognitive, and ADL impairments.
• Create and implement personalized care plans.
• Collaborate with team for quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to regulatory standards.
• Obtain and update physician orders as required.
• Act as a leader/mentor in the rehab team.
• Cover rehab supervisor duties in their absence.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date


• Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline.


• Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in his/her absence

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (BS, MS, MA, or OTD) from an AOTA-accredited program


• Certified by the NBCOT as an OTR, if required by the state


• Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice


• Strong communication and organizational skills
