Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
• Current clinical or social work license as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical experience; chemical dependency and dual diagnosis preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patients for safety and reports concerns.
• Conducts drug screenings in collaboration with nursing staff.
• Facilitates individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Leads group discussions and implements group programming tools.
• Oversees treatment planning and updates goals as needed.
• Oversees discharges and after-care planning with follow-up.
• Communicates with patients, families, and referral sources per HIPAA.
• Collaborates with physicians, UR, and nursing staff on care and LOS.
• Completes psychosocial evaluations and outcome measures.
• Participates in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Responds to crisis calls and supports safety planning.
• Involves in discharge planning and referrals to aftercare.
• Supports care coordination and group therapy development.
• Ensures all documentation meets regulatory standards and confidentiality.
