Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of electrical/electronic testing experience (required).
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills (required).
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of electronic component theory preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from procedures and drawings with minimal guidance.
• Experience executing tests and documenting test results.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to Electronic circuits designs and analysis, in support of project engineers.
• Maintaining equipment and laboratory; calibrating instruments and stocking lab materials.
• Evaluating materials and components to specification.
• Performing environmental tests to check out prototypes and components.
• Aiding Engineers in demonstrating product reliability and quality; building test circuits and apparatus.
• Aiding engineers to support other departments to maintain product in production.
• Training lab technicians in proper equipment use, safety procedures, testing and documentation.
• Researching UL/CSA standards for construction/performance requirements.
