Johnson Controls is seeking a Test Lab Facilities Engineering Manager at the Advanced Engineering and Development Center in New Freedom, PA. The role leads the planning, budgeting, and lifecycle management of test lab infrastructure, supporting HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems.

The position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years’ HVAC design and capital-project experience, plus travel up to 15% and US citizenship or permanent residency. Sponsorship is not provided.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering design experience, HVAC preferred.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, schedules, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, refrigeration, piping, and HVAC testing applications.
• Experience developing drawings, P&IDs, specs, RFQs, and technical docs.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• US Citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop designs and cost estimates for MRP project elements during budgeting.
• Analyze data and create engineering programs (Excel, LabVIEW) and process designs.
• Prepare final designs, BOMs, RFQs, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, and other disciplines for HVAC test facilities.
• Lead capital planning, project execution, and risk management.
• Manage multiple projects and lead interdisciplinary teams.
