Job summary

Micross is seeking a Test Engineering Manager for its Apopka, Florida office. You will lead and grow a team that designs software routines and hardware solutions to verify components meet design and reliability criteria, including VLSI ASICs, FPGAs, and RF parts.

The role requires strong leadership in test engineering, extensive FPGA/VHDL/C/C++ experience, and collaboration with the CTO. You will drive planning, reviews, and on-time delivery within budget, with a focus on innovation and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in electrical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering departments to meet performance goals and budgets.
• Chair test plan development; design reviews and release to production.
• Coordinate with Program Management, Assembly and Operations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Hands-on with test creation, validation, and redesign of routines and circuits.
• Develop and maintain interfaces with CTO and HR for staffing and intern programs.
• Provide regular feedback and drive continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Oversee salary/ performance processes and annual R&D goals with Sales/Marketing.
• Develop policies and budgets to improve efficiency.
