Job summary

Micross in Apopka, FL seeks a Test Engineering Manager to lead the Apopka team, creating software routines and hardware solutions to verify design and reliability criteria for VLSI ASICs, FPGAs, and RF components.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration with the CTO, and hands-on involvement in test creation and validation to ensure margins and specifications are met.

Qualifications

• BSEE / MSEE required with strong hardware/software skills.
• Experience leading design validation and product qualification teams.
• Space satellite and military/aerospace experience preferred.
• Strong programming aptitude across digital, analog, and mixed-signal domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering departments to meet performance goals.
• Ensure designs meet specifications on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with CTO and cross-functional teams to deliver programs.
• Lead test plan development, reviews, and hardware/software releases.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineers; oversee intern program.
