Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to oversee testing and certification activities for power conditioning components and complex weapon system payloads. You will manage all phases from inception to completion, coordinating between engineering, procurement, and multiple test sites to ensure cost and schedule adherence.

The role requires senior-level test engineering leadership, program management expertise, and the ability to work extended hours

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in engineering or related technical field.
• Eleven+ years of progressively complex engineering experience and five management responsibilities.
• Experience leading development, assembly, integration and testing for a system undergoing verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team to achieve objectives and manage cost/schedule.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, procurement, configuration management and test sites.
• Lead test concept definition, criteria and engineering efforts for testing.
