Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Test Engineer to own designated test programs and regularly review progress with STL leadership and customers. You will assess requests, scope tests, estimate costs, design rigs when needed, and drive safety, quality, and delivery in CDT processes.

You will interface with customers, lead multifaceted teams, and coordinate with operations to meet timelines and KPI targets. Strong engineering fundamentals and communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in an engineering role in energy/power, aerospace or regulated industries.
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: MS degree and cross-functional leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interface and lead assigned test programs.
• Act as primary customer interface for KPI and deliverables.
• Plan, prepare, and execute test programs satisfactorily.
• Collaborate with customers to design tests within facility capabilities or approved extensions.
• Lead teams and coordinate with STL leadership and vendors on test facilities and data acquisition.
• Manage test-related documentation, safety, and ISO compliance.
• Review installations and deliver technical design reviews.
• Prepare and review test vehicle documentation and resource plans.
