Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Test Engineer II to lead second‑shift PDC test operations, oversee electrical and functional testing, and drive continuous improvement for large-form assemblies and system-level electronics.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, expertise in HV (480VAC/120VAC) and 24VDC controls, safety interlocks, Hipot testing, and strong troubleshooting skills on a fast-paced manufacturing floor in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering or a similar technical role.
• Working knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and Hipot testing.
• Prior experience coaching or directing operators/technicians in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Electrical safety training or similar certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead second‑shift PDC test operations with focus on safety, production execution, and system troubleshooting.
• Supervise Test Operators and Technicians, including coaching and training.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, EHS, customer, and Jabil requirements.
• Document production detractors, test failures, downtime, and safety concerns clearly.
• Assist with test process changes and release of validated changes to production.
• Support NPI activities, including test readiness, dry runs, and initial production support.
