Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a US-Lead Test Engineering Technician in Grand Rapids, MI to drive the build, setup, execution, and troubleshooting of development and qualification testing for electromechanical actuation products. This role combines hands-on testing with technical leadership in a lab environment.

You will design and support test systems, interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure safe, reliable operation through TPM programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–9 years of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic hands-on experience.
• Proven soldering capabilities and ability to execute test plans.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, modify, troubleshoot, repair and support advanced test systems.
• Create, wire, solder, assemble and troubleshoot boards, actuators and test panels.
• Develop test setups and execute mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and environmental testing.
• Use lab instruments like oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators and data acquisition systems.
• Maintain and improve the lab, tooling, TPM programs for safe and efficient operation.
