GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking an experienced Engineering Test Technician to join our engineering laboratory team. You will perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and validation of aerospace electronic products and test equipment, working closely with design engineers to resolve hardware issues and verify performance.

This hands-on role requires soldering, component-level repair, and experience with CCAs and complete units.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of hands-on electronics testing in a lab or avionics.
• Experience testing analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
• Soldering, rework, and assembly/disassembly experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and export-controlled compliant.

Responsabilidades

• Perform functional, diagnostic, and verification testing on electronic products, CCAs, and complete units against engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Troubleshoot and debug analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits at the component, board, unit, and test-station levels.
• Soldering, desoldering, assembly, disassembly, modification, and repair of electronic hardware and test equipment; maintain solder certification.
• Document test results, failures, repairs, and technical findings clearly; support lab setup and safety/compliance.
