Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to lead and execute automation testing efforts for complex applications. The role collaborates with test engineers, DevOps, business analysts and developers to review software designs and requirements.

The incumbent will drive automation strategy, manage frameworks, estimate LOE, craft test plans, scripts and reports, and ensure quality across releases with strong client interaction during UAT phases.

Qualifications

Experience with manual functional, regression, usability, integration, remote access, and accessibility testing.
Experience developing scripts from scratch with programming code such as Java, JavaScript, or Python, and building an automation framework.
Experience with Web services testing and developing scripts using web services tools.
Experience SME in SQL, DB, and back-end testing.
Experience estimating LOE and developing test plans, scripts, and summary reports.
Experience in Agile environments using JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale to manage tests and defects.
Experience with Section 508 testing using tools like JAWS, SortSite, Dragon, WAVE, or Lighthouse.
Experience working with a client during UAT sessions.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of test automation engineers and define the automation strategy.
Manage the automation framework, estimates, test plans, and peer reviews.
Create and review test scripts and test summary reports for releases.
Conduct manual and automated testing and report results to management.
Interact with clients during testing phases to communicate defects and support UAT.
