Job summary
tap|QA seeks an experienced Lead Test Automation engineer for a full-time position with a client in the Twin Cities area. You will lead a team to design and execute automation plans for all client software products within an agile framework.
The role requires deep knowledge of test automation theory, BDD frameworks, and leadership experience in SaaS testing; strong SQL and Linux skills are a plus. Excellent compensation and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Experience leading test automation teams.
- Fluent in test automation theory and BDD.
- Expertise with BDD frameworks and automation tools.
- Comfortable with SQL prompts and Linux CLI.
- Accomplished web app tester with SaaS exposure.
- Knowledge of testing types: risk-based, accessibility, performance.
- Eager to mentor teammates and work in an open team.
- Experience collaborating with Product Management and Development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the test automation team and set direction.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and QA to plan automation.
- Devise and execute automation plans for all client software products.
- Become a product expert to guide platform evolution and testing.
- Drive features from development to monitoring in an agile process.
