Qualificações

• 2+ years of testing experience
• Familiarity with bug life cycle and defect tracking tools
• Experience in Agile environment preferred
• Experience in mobile testing preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS X and/or Windows
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Jira, QC or Test Complete preferred

Responsabilidades

• Extensively use issue/bug/defect tracking and QA testing software (Jira)
• Provide timely and detailed testing feedback to project teams
• Meet testing deadlines while adapting to flexible production schedules
• Create, analyze, and execute testing strategy and requirements with technical leads
• Perform problem solving and root cause analysis for functionality challenges
• Support and provide input to evolve QA processes, procedures, and standards
• Design and execute test cases
• Create and execute manual regression tests using established guidelines and risks
• Identify, enter and trace defects encountered during testing
• Work closely with developers to ensure quick defect resolution
• Respond quickly to release or client issues and address challenges with leads
• Look for opportunities to improve quality and productivity of test deliverables
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts; design data strategies for functional and non-functional tests

As part of our growth, we have needs for QA consultants in multiple areas. Particular needs include QA professionals with test automation and SQL experience. Typical Duties Include:

• Extensively use issue/bug/defect ticket tracking and QA testing software (Jira)
• Provide timely and detailed testing feedback to project teams
• Meet time testing deadlines while adapting to flexible production schedules
• Create, analyze, and execute testing strategy and requirements with the coordination of technical leads
• Perform problem solving analysis and root causes for functionality challenges
• Support and provide value added inputs in evolving QA team, including improving processes, procedures, and standards
• Design and execute test cases
• Create, update and execute manual regression tests using establish guidelines and risks
• Responsible for identifying, entering and tracing defects encountered during testing
• Work closely with developers to ensure quick resolution of defects
• Quickly reacts to release or client issues and challenges faced by the project teams by working with technical and creative leads to address them
• Continuously look out for opportunities for improvement leading to enhanced quality and productivity of test, product deliverables.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts, design test data strategies for both functional and non-functional tests.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

• 2+ years of experience in testing.
• Solid understanding of the application development cycle and bug life cycle and familiarity with bug tracking tools.
• Experience working in Agile environment is preferred
• Experience working in mobile testing is preferred
• Professional level familiarity with Mac OS X and/or Windows; a higher level of understanding of these OS's a plus.
• Deep knowledge of various testing tools such as QC, JIRA, or Test Complete is highly preferred

• Ability to adapt and work in a highly dynamic environment
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment, many simultaneous projects and competing priorities
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills required
• Excellent oral/written communication including the ability to illustrate and document ideas and plan using Power Point, MS Document, etc.
