Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric seeks a Lead Tennis Professional to manage adult and youth programming, grow private lesson schedules, and engage with players, parents, and the community. The role supports events and exhibitions and collaborates with the Head Tennis Professional on departmental projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive teaching experience, strong leadership, and a passion for athlete development and community outreach.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of tennis teaching experience.
Strong understanding of long-term athlete development and junior pathway programming.
Experience mentoring coaches or leading educational initiatives preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
RSPA Elite or PTR certification preferred.
USTA 4.5 playing level or higher preferred.
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

Build and retain private lesson schedule.
Ability to lead and run adult and youth programming of all levels.
Familiar with organizing and moving 8 players on a court for 90 minutes or adapt to this style of drill.
Dependable, organized and able to independently manage specialty programs.
Build strong relationships with players, parents, and community member.
Support special events, tournaments, exhibitions, and community outreach initiatives.
Assist the Head Tennis Professional with departmental projects and other duties as assigned.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
