Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Head Tennis Professional to lead group and private lessons for all ages, collaborating with the Racquet Sports Manager to expand the tennis program and handle program administration. Must have USTA membership and USPTA/USPTR certification or plan to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• USTA member is required.
• Certification in USPTA/USPTR preferred; if not, must attain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and private tennis instruction for all ages 3 and up.
• Assist with program administration and scheduling.
• Develop and market new programming to grow the tennis program.
• Organize and run social and competitive tennis events for juniors and adults.
• Report weekly numbers to the Racquet Sports Manager.
