Job summary

TruStone Financial Credit Union is seeking a Lead Teller in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time clerical role requires welcoming members, opening new memberships, processing transactions, and promoting TruStone products.

The position involves training staff and helping the branch meet goals while ensuring adherence to procedures. The schedule is Monday–Friday with one Saturday shift, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of cash handling experience or experience serving customers.
• Knowledge of banking and/or credit union regulations preferred.
• Experience training others, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
• Effective verbal and written communication and training skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good decision-making skills and judgement.
• Ability to perform calculations and possess proficiency in basic math skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
• A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor.
• Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
• Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Initiate and open new memberships and accounts and provide information on regulations and policies.
• Promote, sell and refer TruStone products and services while processing inquiries and transactions.
• Train branch staff in these activities and participate in sales programs to meet goals.
• Ensure tellers conform to TruStone processes and procedures.
