Qualifikationen

• RCDD certification or Professional Engineer license required.
• Knowledge of systems, equipment, applications of design methods, materials, and computers for ICT-Telecommunication design.
• Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of ICT-Telecommunication design features.
• Knowledge of developing ICT-Telecommunications designs including specifications, details, one-lines, schedules, riser diagrams, BOM, space plans, pathway designs for inside/outside plant cabling.
• Knowledge of TIA standards, BICSI publications, and NFPA codes.
• Knowledge in use of industry standard software (CAD, REVIT, Navisworks, REVU/BlueBeam, Microsoft Suites) desirable.
• Prior experience in planning and executing greenfield or brownfield telecom projects in high-tech markets.

Aufgaben

• Plans and conducts independent Telecommunications work requiring judgment in evaluation and adaptation of engineering solutions.
• Leads design, development, modification, and evaluation of telecom system components (Voice/Data) per standards and BSAPs.
• Develops coverage studies for cabling distance limitations and coordinates with architectural and client teams.
• Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to stakeholders.
• Develops conceptual designs for Telecommunications projects with unique requirements.
• Supports estimates, staffing needs and schedules.
• Interprets new or special regulations, codes, standards, criteria, and performance data.
• Coordinates with client representatives to obtain approval of Telecommunication aspects and scope changes.
• Coordinates with internal disciplines on scope development, risks, interfaces, and budgets.
• Conducts or leads studies of new telecommunications methods, materials and techniques.
• Mentors telecommunications personnel through on-the-job training.
• Provides input to and participates in educational and training programs.
