Job summary

Bechtel seeks a senior Telecommunications Engineer to plan, develop, and review telecommunication cabling systems for a Chandler, AZ project. The role involves coordinating with clients, preparing design estimates, and ensuring compliance with regulations and Bechtel procedures.

This part-time telework position requires at least three days of in-person attendance weekly at the office or project site, with guidance from leadership to set weekly schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• RCDD certification or Professional Engineer license required.
• Knowledge of ICT-Telecommunication design including standards and codes.
• Familiar with design methods, materials, and BOMs for ICT systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts independent Telecommunications engineering work.
• Leads design and evaluation of telecom system components (Voice/Data).
• Develops coverage studies for cabling distance limitations.
• Communicates complex technical issues to stakeholders.
• Mentors telecom engineering personnel and participates in training.
