Job summary

Hamilton Barnes, a turnkey telecom construction partner, seeks a Field Manager to lead underground FTTH construction on a major multi-year network build in Washington. You will own daily field operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with project timelines and safety standards.

The role offers long-term progression opportunities into MDU, commercial and maintenance work, with a company truck and performance bonuses for high performers on multi-year projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of telecom/fiber construction experience.
• Proven track record supervising construction teams and subcontractors.
• Working knowledge of quality control, budgeting and OSHA regulations.
• Able to read utility construction maps (highly regarded).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site operations for construction crews and subcontractors.
• Apply quality control measures and oversee construction to meet project specifications.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all work sites.
• Manage project timelines, resources and materials to avoid delays.
• Give stakeholders regular updates on progress and issues.
• Use construction management software to track milestones and documentation.
