Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will lead on-site teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and provide guidance to junior crew members.

The role requires hands-on expertise with telecom infrastructure, climbing and operating heavy equipment, and a willingness to travel for storm response.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical and hold a valid medical card.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Ability to travel for storm response on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned
