Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned electrical/low-voltage systems specialist to lead design efforts on moderate to complex building projects. You will work with engineers, consultants and PMs to deliver direction and solutions, overseeing analysis and implementation of ICT systems.

You will conduct site visits, provide documentation, and mentor junior staff. A BS in a related field and 7+ years of experience are expected, with BIM/engineering certs preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Associates degree or BIM/Engineering certificate preferred.
• 11+ years of experience in building design consulting or construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts as project manager or lead designer for moderate to complex projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, architects, and project managers to provide project direction and solutions.
• Oversee engineering analysis, design and implementation of low-voltage ICT systems in buildings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including other engineers, architects, and PMs.
• Conduct construction site visits and provide documentation as needed or requested.
• Provide technical training and mentoring.
