Job Overview

Deliver a safe and patient-focused environment for procedures as an Endoscopy Technician. In this role, you will be a trusted member of the patient care team, assisting with procedures and providing Nurses and Physicians with key observations. You will play a key role in our Hospital's mission of Putting Patients First. Escort patients to procedures, assist with care planning, maintain and order equipment supplies, and ensure safety. Step into a culture of strong bonds between patients and colleagues, and help advance our focus on care and caring.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Endoscopy Technician certification
• One year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Gastroenterology (GI) Technician, or Assistant
• Previous experience processing instruments and assisting in Endoscopy procedures

Scheduling Requirements

• Day shift
• Per Diem
• Night shifts, weekends, and holidays on call required

Essential Functions

• Must be capable of performing tasks that require dexterity, coordination, strength, flexibility, and endurance, as inherent in normal assignment
• Superior customer service and excellent communication skills
