Qualifications

• One year experience as an Endoscopy Technician or GI Technician preferred.

Job Overview:

Deliver a safe and patient-focused environment for procedures as an Endoscopy Technician. In this role, you will be a trusted member of the patient care team, assisting with procedures and providing Nurses and Physicians with key observations. You will play a key role in our hospital's mission of Putting Patients First. Responsibilities include escorting patients to procedures, assisting with care planning, maintaining and ordering equipment supplies, and ensuring safety. Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• One year experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Gastroenterology (GI) Technician or Assistant
• Previous experience processing instruments and assisting in Endoscopy procedures

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Endoscopy Technician certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Days
• Per Diem
• Night shifts, weekends, and holidays on call required

Essential Functions:

• Perform tasks requiring dexterity, coordination, strength, flexibility, endurance
• Provide superior customer service and communicate effectively
