Job summary

HOODZ of Grand Rapids & West Michigan is seeking quality Lead Supervisor Hood Cleaning Technicians. The position offers $20-$24 per hour based on experience and includes a one-time signing bonus. Hours are overnight, Sunday to Thursday, with a truck-based mobile route to multiple sites.

Supervisors lead crews and ensure high-quality work while managing equipment and safety on each job. Training is provided; background in plumbing, mechanics, repair, HVAC, or kitchen management is a plus.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen exhaust cleaning experience required; training provided.
• Background in plumbing, mechanics, repair, HVAC or kitchen management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Power washing of restaurant kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
• Leading / supervising an on the job crew.
• Accountable for ensuring quality work is done for each job.
• Management of the assigned truck to ensure it's kept clean and organized.
• Setup and takedown of job sites and equipment including cleaning stainless steel hoods and using vacuums and high pressure hoses.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision.
• Maintain equipment and report mechanical deficiencies.
• Complete all administrative duties.

Job description

HOODZ of Grand Rapids & West Michigan is looking for quality Lead Supervisor Hood Cleaning Technicians.

$20-$24 / hour based on experience to include aone-time signing bonus.

Hours are primarily overnight (start and end times range from 8pm to 6am) from Sunday to Thursday, but schedule will vary. Lead Supervisor Technicians will pick up the assigned HOODZ truck and drive to multiple sites during the shift.

Job duties include::

• Power washing of restaurant kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
• Leading / supervising an on the job crew.
• Accountable for ensuring quality work is done for each job.
• Management of the assigned truck to ensure it's kept clean and organized.
• The set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down of stainless steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, etc.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision
• Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies
• Completion of all administrative duties.

Skills / Requirements::

No prior kitchen exhaust cleaning experience is required, however a background in plumbing, mechanics, repair, HVAC or kitchen managementis a plus. Training will be provided.

• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently
