MaineGeneral Health in Maine is seeking a team lead for sterile processing to monitor and coach staff, ensuring productivity and quality in daily operations.
The role requires CRCST or CPSDT certification and additional CBSPD/CIS/CHL credentials within six months; the position offers competitive benefits and a strong focus on staff development.
Leads team members for assigned area or function by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.
What You'll Do: Provides monitoring, coaching and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management. Serves as a positive role model by working with team members to promote teamwork and cooperation.
Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Certification as Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) or Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CPSDT) through CBSPD required .
One (1) of the following is required upon hire; the remaining certification is required within 6 months of hire:

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
