Job summary

Daisy is seeking a Lead Technician for the San Carlos branch to install, configure, and maintain low-voltage integrated system equipment and components. The role involves installing Control 4, AV, networking, and related systems across job sites, with a focus on quality and client interaction.

The position requires 2–3 years of experience in low-voltage systems, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of low-voltage integrated systems experience or hands-on study.
• Credentials (CEDIA/AVIXA or manufacturer) preferred
• High school diploma required
• Motivated to learn new technologies and processes
• Strong judgment and creative problem-solving, including negotiation
• Ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate others
• Valid state driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to sit, stand, and kneel for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specs and manuals
• Install and configure Control 4, audio/video, satellite/cable, networking systems
• Troubleshoot systems
• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling
• Install low-voltage panels and junction boxes
• Travel to various job sites
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle
• Interact with clients, builders, designers, architects and other professionals
• Communicate daily with Project Manager on project progress
• Perform other related duties as assigned
