Job summary

Daisy is seeking a Lead Technician in the San Carlos, CA area to install, configure and maintain low-voltage integrated system equipment. You will work with Control4, audio/video, satellite and networking setups, handling project-specific tasks from diagrams to on-site execution.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving and leadership abilities, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of low-voltage integrated systems experience or hands-on study.
• Credentials from CEDIA, AVIXA or manufacturers preferred.
• High school diploma required; motivated to learn new tech.
• Strong judgment, creative problem solving, and negotiation ability.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specs and manuals.
• Install and maintain Control4, audio/video, networking and related systems.
• Troubleshoot simple and complex systems.
• Install and terminate low-voltage cable and panels.
• Travel to various job sites and use tools safely.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle.
• Interact with clients, builders, designers and pros daily.
• Provide daily updates to Project Manager on progress.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years of low-voltage integrated systems work experience and/or hands-on study required.
• Industry-recognized (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer, etc.) credentials preferred
• A minimum of a high school diploma is required
• Motivated to learn new technologies and processes
• Demonstrates excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
• Interacts thoughtfully with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
• Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others
• Possesses a valid state driver's license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle
• Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds
• Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of time

Schedule/Expected Work Hours

• Monday-Friday 8a-5p
• On-call rotations
• Occasional evenings and weekends

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and operational/product manuals
• Installs Control 4, configures and maintains audio/video, satellite/cable, networking/data systems, devices, and components.
• Troubleshoots simple and complex systems
• Installs and terminates low-voltage cable
• Installs low voltage panel and junction boxes
• Travels to various job sites
• Uses hand and power tools safely
• Maintains company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle
• Interacts with clients, builders, designers, architects, and other industry professionals
• Communicate every day with the Project Manager on the progress of the project
• Performs other related duties as assigned
